Adjusting the Printhead Offset

      Calibrating the colors of your wall or floor printer may be necessary if your image is not lining up or the colors are not in the proper order. The following procedures are to be carried out to Calibrate the Colors Sprayed by your printer. 

  • Power on the computer and printhead assembly on your printer. Ensure your computer has booted into Windows entirely before powering on the printhead assembly. 

  • Complete the startup procedure for your printer by performing your Pump / Spray / Test 

  • Navigate to the Operations Menu. Using the Onscreen controls move the printer into a good position to print and place the printhead assembly into Automatic Mode for the Z-Axis. 

  • Navigate to Printer Information > Printhead Settings 

  • Press the Print Test Button at the bottom of the window. 

  •  

 

       This is going to print 2 vertical lines on the surface in front of your printer. 1 on the Upward pass and 1 on the Downward pass. 

      The Colors should line up on the upward and downward passes. 
      
  • If the colors do not line up on the Upward and Downward passes follow these steps: 

  • Adjust the A Printhead Offset Upward 

  •  

  • If the First Line is Higher than the second Lower the Value. 

  • Each Digit 1 = 0.1mm 

  • If the First Line is Lower than the Second Increase the Value. 

  • Each Digit 1 = 0.1mm 

  • After making an adjustment Click the Save button at the bottom of the window 

  • Close the TWP Software and reopen  

  • Open the Operational Button and Set the Printer to Auto and Position for new print. 

  • Navigate to Printer Information > Printhead Settings 

  • Press the Print Test Button at the Bottom of the Window 

  • Observe the change in alignment between the Uppass and Downpass lines. 

  • Repeat the process as needed until the colors line up between the two passes.
