The following document explains the process of preparing an image for print using the wall printer.
This document does cover every circumstance and some images may need additional attention and editing.
1. Open Photoshop and click on "File > Open". This will open a windows search directory to locate the image file you want to import.
2. Navigate to the file directory where you image is stored. Select the file you want to import and click the "Open" Button. This will import the image into Photoshop for editing.
3. Ensure your layer tab is selected and unlock the layer, by clicking the lock located on the layer. This will unlock that layer making available to edit.
4. Along the top of the window select "Edit > Convert to Profile". This will open a dialog box allowing you to select the color profile you would like to have this image set to. Most images are going to be set to the RGB color profile, The Wall Printer uses CMYK ink so if the image is not already in the CMYK color profile it will need to be adjusted.

6. Navigate to "Image > Mode and change the setting to 16 Bits/Channel" When printing we want to provide as much detail and information to the printer as possible. We also want our colors to be as accurate as possible. So we are going to increase our Colors per channel to 16 bits/Channel.
7. Click on "Image > Image Size" Increase the image size to the desired print dimensions and ensure your image is at least 300 pixels per inch and click ok to save those adjustments. "300 pixels per inch is the minimum for printing."
8. Click on "Magic Wand Tool" located in the tools list on the left side of the screen. This tool allows you to select All or Portions of the image you would like to print White under or on top of depending on your application. This White layer is called a "Spot Channel".

10. Click on the four-line button located on the right opening a drop down menu.
11. Click on "New Spot Channel", this will open a dialog box for the new channel. Name should be "W1" , the color of the channel and solidity are optional. (Use a color and solidity that you can see easily and is different from the image colors, this will help you ensure you put your spot channel only where you intended).
12. Click on the "Layers" tab, showing the layers of the image. If your image has multiple layers you will need to "Merge Layers" the image before saving. This will leave you with a single layer with all the images data.
